WAYS YOU CAN SHARE IN THE PEACEMAKING MISSION
OF THE FRANCISCAN SISTERS OF PEACE

"It is We Who Build Community"

DID YOU KNOW THAT the Franciscan Sisters of Peace teach non-violence to those we serve through our many ministries, especially in poor communities. Some of these ministries are unable to pay the standard compensation; therefore, our congregation must subsidize the sisters in these works.

THE TREASURE OF OUR CONGREGATION is the group of our senior sisters. Although inactive, some continue as volunteers in ministries while others with special needs are residing in nursing homes or in Marian Woods, Hartsdale, New York. Marian Woods is an intercommunity retirement residence for sisters from five congregations including the Franciscan Sisters of Peace.
"It is You Who Builds Community"

YOUR INDIVIDUAL DONATION helps to shelter a homeless woman, comfort the terminally ill, help an unwed pregnant teenager, educate adults and children, bring the love of God to a prisoner, bring faith to unbelievers and care for our retired sisters.
DOUBLE YOUR GIFT by asking your company if they have a Matching Gift Program. In this way your gift will go twice as far.
NON-CASH GIFTS such as appreciated stocks are also welcome.

"It is Love that Builds Community"

BE REMEMBERED FOREVER by naming the Franciscan Sisters of Peace in your will or as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Our legal name is the Sisters of St. Francis of Peace.

GIVE THE PERFECT GIFT TO THE ONE WHO HAS EVERYTHING by giving a donation in the celebrant's name to the Franciscan Sisters of Peace in honor of a special occasion such as a special birthday or anniversary.

All donations may be sent to:
